Mission

The Jewish Women’s Foundation of New Jersey (JWF-NJ) is a collaborative philanthropy inspired by Jewish values. Members are dedicated to empowering women and girls in New Jersey through education, advocacy, and strategic grant making.

• JWF-NJ is rooted in the Jewish community. While Trustees express their individual connections to Jewish tradition and observance in varied ways, we are joined by our commitment to Jewish peoplehood.

• JWF-NJ believes in the importance of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world. Trustees are united by our Jewish values and a passion for creating a world in which all women and girls grow up in healthy, supportive environments, with equal opportunity for economic, religious, social and political achievement.

• JWF-NJ stands with Israel. We recognize the primacy of Israel's existence for the Jewish people and support efforts for lasting peace in the region.
